February 13: Open House

Affirmation: I accept my fears and doubts. I move forward anyway.

This affirmation reminds me that fears and doubts don’t control me. There are times when those emotions are warning me to be cautious and reconsider, but many times fear and doubt are emotional road blocks.

Open House

"Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you'll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven."

MATTHEW 5:15

Good works are an important means of witness; but they are also ex­tremely susceptible to pride. Jesus can teach us how to use good works as glorifications of God and not simply as advertisements of ourselves. 


What are some ways you can be generous with your life? 

 

"So let our lips and lives express the holy gospel we profess; so let our works and virtues shine, to prove the doctrine all divine. Thus shall we best proclaim abroad the honors of our Savior God, when His salvation reigns within, and grace subdues the power of sin. 

Amen.
